Arizona School of Traditional Karate presented International Web Award and Best of Mesa Awards

In the past year or so, the Arizona School of Traditional Karate (Arizona Hombu) and the our parent organization, Seiyo Kai International, were presented several awards. We received several web awards including the Web Award for Martial Arts. We thank for recognizing our hard work in promoting history, education, philosophy and pragmatic application of traditional Okinawan martial arts. We were also presented other awards that included the Best of Mesa Award in 2013 for our Variety of Martial Arts Activities and Education. We also received the the Best of Mesa Award 2013 for Special Interests Schools & Instruction.

It doesn't just end there. Our martial arts clubs and association have been awarded dozens of national and international awards since the 1970s. This year alone, one of our students, Ryan Nemec was presented Outstanding Male Martial Arts Student of the Year at the Juko Kai International Clinic in New Braunfels, Texas.

Our Grandmaster, Soke Hausel was inducted into Who's Who in America 2013, and 2014 and also Who's Who in the World for those same years.
